The Buyers are back at it. Prices are rising in almost all categories with Detached properties rising 5.1% from February.
Bank of Canada paused its interest rate hike at 4.5%, and will be monitoring the effects of its quantitative tightening. This has brought some buyers off the sidelines.
As I had predicted prices bottomed out back in December and are on rise as Real Estate Market heats up for the summer. If you are thinking of buying then act now before prices rise further. Interest rates have increased however house prices have dropped significantly requiring a lower down payment.
