The Bank of Canada raised its overnight interest rate by 25 basis points now at 4.75%, and is continuing its Quantitative Tightening Policy. Inflation has not dropped as they wished, so they continue to hike up interest rates in hopes of increasing the value of the Canadian dollar and reducing inflation
As expected, prices reached their lowest point in December and are now rising as the summer season approaches. If you want to buy a property, now is the time to do it before prices go up even more.
